MILAN, ITALY

My Mom and I flew into Milan and right after we got off the plane we went to a bus that took us to the train station, so we could catch a train to Rome. This was the train that we took. They have two train rides you can do either fast or slow. We took the fast version and got to Rome in 3 hours, while the other train can take up to 6-7 hours because it makes stops along the way. Really nice trains they certainly have America beat on this!

The Milan train station is stunning and I would say even more beautiful than Grand Central Station in NYC.

The train ride from Milan to Rome was absolutely stunning. We went through Florence and I could have stayed in a train all day and looked at the scenery.

Outside of the Milan train station.

The Duomo Cathedral took 500 years to finish. After seeing the interior and exterior in person. I believe it.

This cathedral is really really really big. These columns seem to go on forever.

Such vibrant colors.

My mother is standing in front of this door. We were fascinated by doors around Rome especially because the doors are so large and ornate.

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a high end shopping store and it is wow.

Just stunning.
